The Delaware Fury 10U softball team finished in second at the Black Eyed Susan – SUPER NIT tournament in Sykesville, Maryland over the weekend finishing 4-1. The team outscored their opponents 46 to 20. Fury’s success was a true team effort with every girl having at least one hit or RBI during the weekend tournament. Anya Patel and Arianna Holl led the way with 6 hits each and a weekend batting average of 0.750. Juliana Perrucci and Audrey Sechrist each had 5 hits a piece, Bobbie Coleman, Avery Dove, Zendaya Hynson and Sienna Luloff each had three hits. Grace Wyatt, Jasmyne Clugston, and Hope Conway also added to the team with additional hits and RBIs.
On the mound were Jasmyne Clugston, Arianna Holl, and Julianna Perrucci. Jasmyne finished the weekend with 18 strikeouts and 4 hits over 2.5 games, including a no hitter on Sunday against Maryland Hustle with a final score of 10-1. Arianna Holl had 15 strikeouts in over the weekend including a shutout on Sunday against the Yellow Jackets with a score of 12-0.
Julianna Perrucci came in for relief in two games and had 3 strikeouts as a reliever.
