Congratulations to our 16U Baseball team who went 4-0 to win the Perfect Game regional qualifier this past weekend at In the Net Sports Palmyra, Pa.
Marty Coyne pitched 5.1 innings gave up 2 runs with 11 strikeouts.
Tyler August pitched 5.1 innings with 8 strikeouts, and only gave up 1 run. Tyler went 4-7 with 3 doubles and 4 RBI’s.
Drew Simpson had 5 hits on the weekend with a homerun and 2 doubles. Also came into relief in the championship game and had 5 strikeouts.
Chase Fleming had 4 hits with a double as well.
Logan Wiley had the game winning hit in the top of the 7th to beat nationally ranked Bronx Bombers.
